Our client wanted a lush lawn in his back yard for his young family to enjoy as part of a larger project to make a private, sub-tropical garden.
Green Trees removed the back and side lawn areas, installed a good quality screed under turf soil and then laid Palmetto turf – a turf which is very hardy, great for areas with full sun and part shade, and easy to maintain.
Subsequently, they decided to have raised garden beds along the southern and western sides of the main lawn area.
We erected the sleeper garden beds, lined with geofabric and a layer of drainage rock, and then good organic screed soil. They decided on the plant selection which we installed, and then mulched, resulting in a lovely private space for their children to play.
